Psychological Theories

There are a number of important theories in psychology.   These theories
may provide ideas about emotions, thinking, motivation, or behavior.
Theories are more general than hypotheses.  Theories may involve a set
of ideas, and they may involve the integration of more specific ideas and
findings.  They may help to make sense of research findings.  They may be
in the form a mediational model that illustrates how certain variables may
influence other variables.
Below are some psychological theories.  More theories may be added
later.
